Your survey and booking
Your confirmation identifies the vessel, survey type, location, date and AM/PM attendance preference. The date is reserved when the booking is accepted and a booking reference is issued. AM/PM is an attendance preference, not a second booking slot.
Fee and payment
The survey fee is €60 per metre, with a €450 minimum, for vessels from 4 to 120 metres in 0.5-metre steps. The accepted confirmation records your total. Surveyor travel time and expenses are included. Haul-out, lift, wash, yard and marina fees are the client’s responsibility. Additional specialist work is agreed separately before it is carried out.
Payment is due when the survey is completed, with your written report to follow. No deposit is required. Insurer bookings are invoiced on 30-day payment terms.
Access and scope
The scope advertised for your selected survey type in the “Our Surveys” section of our main webpage, including its accompanying scope explanations, forms the minimum agreed scope at the time of booking. By accepting these terms, you agree to that scope. Provide accurate vessel details, its exact location and safe access arrangements, and tell us any insurer requirements or known concerns in advance. The report records the inspection, findings and limitations. Insurer acceptance and coverage decisions remain with the insurer.
Your report
We aim to deliver your written report by the end of the day after your survey. Your confirmation states the target date, using the Europe/Dublin time zone and including weekends. This is a delivery aim, not a guaranteed deadline.
