Which locations do our Cork Harbour surveyors cover?

Shannon Maritime covers Cork city, Monkstown, East Ferry, Cobh, Crosshaven and nearby Kinsale. Pick your marina or boatyard, add your berth and choose a date for your boat survey. For boats elsewhere, book through the main site.

How do I choose my Crosshaven venue?

Just pick Royal Cork Yacht Club marina, Royal Cork Yacht Club Eastern Marina or Crosshaven Boatyard from the dropdown. Add your berth or yard position and select the survey day that suits you.

Can I book a boat survey in Kinsale?

Yes. Kinsale Yacht Club Marina and Kinsale Boatyard are included. Choose Kinsale, select your venue and get your survey fee from the calculator, with travel included.

Do you cover boats at Cobh?

Yes. Cove Sailing Club marina is the listed Cobh venue. Choose it and add your berth, or select Other / not listed for another local position.

Can I book at Cork city or Monkstown?

Yes. Cork City Marina is under Cork city, and Cork Harbour Marina is under Monkstown. Pick the venue where your boat will be ready and add its berth.

What helps with a Cork pre-purchase survey?

Share the seller’s details and any questions you have about the boat. The survey gives you condition findings and practical recommendations to discuss before deciding on the purchase.

Does my boat need to be lifted out before the survey?

If your survey needs the hull inspected out of the water, the owner is responsible for booking the haul-out with the marina or boatyard. Please arrange and confirm the lift-out before booking your survey date, so the boat is ready when your surveyor arrives. An unconfirmed haul-out can limit what can be inspected and what your survey report can cover.
