Shannon Maritime covers Malahide, Howth, Ringsend, Dún Laoghaire and Greystones. Choose your local area or venue and add your berth. For boats elsewhere, book through the main site.

How do I book a survey in Dún Laoghaire?

Get your fee and choose your date, then pick Dún Laoghaire Marina, Coal Harbour boatyard, Royal St George Yacht Club, National Yacht Club or Dún Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club. Add your berth to finish the location details.

Can you come to Malahide, Howth or Poolbeg?

Yes. Malahide Marina, Howth Yacht Club marina and Poolbeg Marina in Ringsend are all covered. Just select your venue, add your berth and choose an available day for the visit.

Can I arrange a motorboat survey in Greystones?

Yes. Greystones Harbour Marina and boatyard is part of our Dublin & East Coast coverage. Use the calculator for your fee, then select Greystones and your survey date.

Does my boat need to be lifted out before the survey?

If your survey needs the hull inspected out of the water, the owner is responsible for booking the haul-out with the marina or boatyard. Please arrange and confirm the lift-out before booking your survey date, so the boat is ready when your surveyor arrives. An unconfirmed haul-out can limit what can be inspected and what your survey report can cover.

Does a Dublin pre-purchase survey include an operational trial?

Yes. An operational sea, river or lake trial is included in the pre-purchase survey offering. Share your boat’s location and access arrangements when booking so we can prepare for the visit.

Do I pay when booking a Dublin boat survey?

No deposit is required. Payment is due when your survey is completed. Choose an available date and complete your booking; the booking reference confirms the day your surveyor will attend.
